• One of the most important aspects of counselling is the relationship between counsellor and client but sometimes, that choice can feel overwhelming. I want you to have full confidence before moving forward and that's why I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so that you can learn more about me and how I work. You don't need to make any commitments and there is absolutely no pressure to book a further session unless it feels right for you.
I accept counselling referrals from any of the following:
    • Self referral
    • GP referral
    • Students requiring personal counselling
    • Company referrals

I work with a wide range of presenting issues some of these being (but not limited to):

    • Anxiety • Depression • Life choices
    • ‘the self’ • Sexuality • Domestic abuse • Loss, grief, and bereavement
    • Family and relationship issues
    • Drug and alcohol issues
    • Stress • Fertility issues • Body image
    • Self esteem • LGBTQIA+

About Me

Hi my name is Amanda

My core approach is humanistic, as I believe that we all deserve and can achieve our full potential, allowing us to be ourselves and strive for self-actualisation. With the idea that we embrace our individuality and that our differences are not a bad thing but rather a positive aspect of who we are.

I hold a diploma in therapeutic counselling and am a certified NCPS member, which is the foundation of my work as I adhere to the framework in my practice. In addition to providing in-person counselling, I also provide online and over the phone counselling. I am based in Langstone Newport.
